EatDenver is hosting Harvest Week, one of Denver’s best food events, from Sunday, October 16th through Thursday, October 20th, 2016!
Harvest Week, a celebration of local produce, products and purveyors, features EatDenver restaurants joining forces for a popup style, multi-course dinner at The GrowHaus.
Diners will enjoy their meal within The GrowHaus’ indoor farm and educational center, located in Denver’s ElyriaSwansea neighborhood. Each evening will showcase a different type of cuisine, prepared by five to seven member restaurants and served family style. Dinner includes handpicked cocktails, beer and wine to pair with the family style menu as well as live music.
Proceeds from the event go to support EatDenver and The GrowHaus, to further their missions of supporting Denver’s independent restaurants and food education and security.
“It’s rare that chefs from such diverse restaurants get to truly collaborate at this level, creating themed menus from scratch,” said Adam Schlegel, executive director of EatDenver. “Harvest Week is among my favorite events because it provides a venue for chefs and their teams to step outside their own restaurant and create food you may not normally see on their menu. Incorporating some of the best local products helps round out what is already a fantastic and fun evening.”
