The Star Wars™ and the Power of Costume Exhibit at Denver Art Museum will be on display for the final time this weekend. The exhibit will take you on a unique journey into the Star Wars™ universe as characters are brought to life through a dramatic presentation of more than 70 original costumes.
The exhibit closely examines the captivating process of costume design for iconic outfits featured in all seven films of the Star Wars series, from Queen Amidala’s lavish gowns to Darth Vader’s imposing black armor.

This Saturday, the Denver Public Library kicks-off its 2017 LEGO® Building Contest. Visit a LEGO® building workshop this Saturday at one of Denver Public Library’s locations and build creations inspired by the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! From the new Viking exhibition to dinosaurs and outer space, there are no limits to what you can create.
Then, drop off your creation at one of the 21 participating branches of the Denver Public Library with your submission form between Saturday, April 8th and Saturday, April 15th to participate. Judging will take place the following week and winners at each branch will receive a set of tickets to Denver Museum of Nature and Science or a LEGO® themed book.
