When people ask me what I love about the Hilltop neighborhood, I mention it’s community, homes, parks, great schools and it’s distance to downtown. Well now I can add it’s growing options for great dining as well.
If you have yet to hear (or try), Hilltop’s very own Park Burger, then you are surely missing out.
I recently went to visit Park Burger and sat down with the General Manager of this location, Mihai Jurcau, to learn more about Park Burger. Jurcau, really wanted to emphasize that “Park Burger is more than just a neighborhood restaurant. It is part of the community”. Every month or so the staff declare a ‘Community Clean Up Day’ and jointly go clean up the streets and parks in the neighborhood.
They also sponsor every month a different fundraising event for non-profits or schools. (email info@parkburger.com to reach out to them if you would like to submit an application). It is great to see this kind of contribution from a local business, giving back to its community.
As for the food, Park Burger is a family friendly neighborhood restaurant, serving Denver’s prizewinning burgers, fries, shakes, and beer. The restaurant prides itself with using only fresh and never frozen natural ingredients. The restaurant was one of the first ones to open up in Hilltop.
They hold a ‘Happy Hour’ every weekday between 3pm – 6pm, where you can get any Colorado beer for only $3 and on Tuesday nights they have a ‘Wine Tuesday’ (after 6pm), where bottles of wine are 50% off their original price.
The Denver Ear readers are exclusively offered a FREE 16oz draft beer with a purchase of an entrée for the entire month of August when showing the coupon below to your server.
Happy (and now delicious) August!
