We’re in our June era.

With summer right around the corner, we came up with 9 things to do in Denver this June that you won’t want to miss. From fun events, shows, and summer fun – let’s get this countdown started.

EVENTS

1. DENVER PRIDE

@Denver Pride

Kicking off our list is easily one of our favorite events of the year, Denver Pride.

Taking place June 24-25, this is one event you won’t want to miss. The weekend starts with the Pride 5K on 6/24, followed by the two-day Denver PrideFest at Civic Center Park. With over 250 exhibitors, 30 food & beverage vendors, and live performances all weekend long – it’s sure to be a real party.

Psst… don’t forget about the Coors Light PrideFest Parade taking place 6/25 at 9:30 AM.

2. DENVER FRINGE FESTIVAL

Another great event to check out this month is the Denver Fringe Festival.

Taking place June 8-11, this event is a celebration of all things art. With 55 original shows taking place over 12 venues throughout RiNo and Five Points, it’s a great way to catch some incredible immersive performances. Festival passes are still available and can be found here.

3. CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

@Denver Cherry Blossom Festival

Rounding out our list of events is the 49th annual Denver Cherry Blossom Festival.

Taking place June 17-18 at Sakura Square, this festival celebrates Japanese heritage and culture through live entertainment, food and drink, lively marketplace and informative exhibits and demonstrations. The festival is free and open to the public, with food and drink available for purchase.

SHOWS

4. BEN SCHWARTZ & FRIENDS

Kicking off our list of must-see shows this month is Ben Schwartz & Friends are the Paramount Theater.

The comedian brings his show to the Mile High on June 17th for an evening that’s sure to be full of laughs. Tickets are still available but won’t last for long.

5. T-PAIN

@T-Pain

Up next is none other than the man himself – T-Pain.

As part of his Escape from Wiscansin tour, T-Pain stops by Mission Ballroom on June 17th. While we admit we may be a little obsessed, we had a chance to catch him live and it did not disappoint. Tickets are limited but can be found here.

6. HAVE A GOOD TRIP

Rounding out our list of shows this month is the ‘Have a Good Trip”: benefit for MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). With an unbelievable lineup featuring performances from Eric Andre and Reggie Watts, and full sets from The Flaming Lips, DJ Chris Holmes and other special guests, it’s sure to be a real trip.

Tickets are on sale now and can be found here.

SUMMER FUN

7. DINE-IN MOVIES

@Elitch Gardens

It wouldn’t be summer without a visit to Elitch Gardens. They’re back this June with their summer Dive-In movie series. The series kicks off on June 23rd with The Incredibles, taking place in their Wave Pool inside Island Kingdom Water Park. We can’t think of a better way to kick off the summer season!

8. NIGHT BAZAAR

Summer wouldn’t be complete without a little retail therapy.

Denver BAZAAR is back this summer for their Night BAZAAR series. Night BAZAAR will be popping up at four different locations in Denver weekly and monthly all summer long. Be sure to check out their calendar for a full list of date, locations, special events, and more.

9. FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

Last but certainly not least is First Friday Art Walks.

Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe comes alive on the first Friday of each month from 5:30-9:30 PM. You’ll enjoy art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, on the street, and everywhere in between.
