The Denver Beer Festivus is back again this weekend! The 4th Annual Denver Beer Festivus will take place on Sunday, December 13th 2015 from 2pm-5:30pm at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Denver Beer Festivus brings beer, a jolly crowd, music, airing of grievances, a shiny Festivus pole together to create one heck of a celebration.
This year’s Festivus will have a very special beer section known as Rare Beer Alley. Wings Over The Rockies is an incredible space, and Imbibe Events wants to utilize every little nook and cranny of the building. There is a great balcony area with one incredible view. To make sure every attendee has the chance to experience this view while enjoying a Festivus libation, Imbibe has created Rare Beer Alley.
Rare Beer Alley will feature five breweries pouring samples of limited edition or rare beers. These beers will not be available on the main festival floor. Each Festivus attendee will receive a ticket with a 10 minute window to sample some of these rare brews.

Call To Arms Brewing Company: Beer And Coffee Drink You and Kiss From A Rose
Copper Kettle Brewing Company: Sobremesa, Le Chapeau, Well Bred and Snowed In
Epic Brewing Company: Big Bad Baptist
Great Divide Brewing Company: Kriek, Plum Sour Rosabelle and Barrel Aged Yeti
Ratio Beerworks: Toasted Coconut Hold Steady
Also, this year’s Festivus will have more than 40 participating breweries. (In order to participate in Festivus, breweries must have a Denver address. which makes this event a great way to support local businesses!)
“The continued growth of Denver’s small and independent brewers illustrates the demand and love of beer our community has,” said PJ Hoberman of Imbibe Events. “The beer scene in our city is so diverse that while competition does exist, each brewery must create a unique experience and high quality beer in order to succeed.”
Denver Beer Festivus is open to adults 21 and older. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at www.denverbeerfestivus.com. A portion of ticket sales will benefit New Era Colorado.
Buses to Festivus are available from four of the participating breweries: Great Divide’s Barrel Room (1812 35th Street), Hogshead (4460 W 29th Ave), Station 26 (7045 E 38th Ave) and TRVE (227 Broadway). Buses will drop guests off at Wings Over the Rockies before the event starts, and leave after Festivus ends, with plenty of time to get in and out of the event. Bus tickets are $10 each.
