This month, Tamayo is celebrating 15 years in Denver’s iconic Larimer Square, and on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 chef-owner Richard Sandoval and chef de cuisine Arnold Rubio will throw a Quinceañera celebration. In true Tamayo fashion, the casual and playful event will take place from 5:30pm – 8:30pm on the rooftop patio, and will feature new menu creations, throwback favorites and a tequila tasting station!
The throwback birthday menu, which will also be available for restaurant diners from today through May 18th, features favorites from throughout Tamayo’s impressive 15-year run, including Huachinango a la Veracruzana from 2001, Salmon Acapulqueno from 2004; Ceviche de Atun from 2009 and Tiradito de res from 2010.
Tickets are limited and cost $42 each. Tickets include tasting stations, live music by Sambadende, Milagro Tequila sampling, margaritas and birthday cake. Tickets can be purchased at: tamayos15th.eventbrite.com.
