The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, (DCPA), is one of my favorite places in Denver, Colorado.
DCPA showcases so many diverse theatrical shows such as musicals, plays, local productions and broadway productions.
They also offer the Academy of the Performing Arts, where you can get educated in the business of acting and drama. It is a wonderful gateway opportunity for people who dream of getting into the theater industry.

There are so many upcoming shows at Denver Center for the Performing Arts that you should know about:
Once, will be on stage from next week, May 24th through May 29th, 2016. Once tells the story of a Dublin street musician who’s about to give up on his dream when a beautiful young woman takes a sudden interest in his love songs. Once is a unique show that features actors who play their own instruments on stage!
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, will be on stage from June 7th through June 12th, 2016. This family friendly broadway production is based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film.

The Sound of Music, will be on stage from June 21st through June 26th, 2016. The Sound of Music tell the story of Maria and the Von Trapp Family.
Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, will be on stage July 19th through July 31st, 2016. Beautiful – The Carole King Musical is about the true inspiring story of the Carole King’s remarkable rise to stardom.
The Phantom of the Opera, will be on stage from August 11th through September 11th, 2016. The Phantom of the Opera is a new production, based on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic tale.
The Illusionists – Live From Broadway, will showcase seven of the most incredible Illusionists on earth that will present their talents on stage. The Illusionists only will take place next year, May 19 – 21, 2017, but since it’s going to sell out, it’s best to keep your eyes on this one early.
With so many great productions, it’s easy to understand why I love the Denver Center for the Performing Art. I also love all types of performing arts which include acting and music. So if you ever are looking for a place where you can have fun, learn new things and enjoy great shows, this is the place. I hope you experience it soon and enjoy it just like me!
