One of the Denver Art Museum’s longest-running events, Friendship Powwow is a celebration of the vitality of American Indian cultures.
Throughout the day, visitors can watch colorful dance competitions and enjoy fry bread. Stop by the Native Arts Artist-in-Residence Studio, focused this summer on the artistry and creation of powwow regalia. Also, don’t miss the American Indian art collection on levels two and three of the North Building.
