Psst… Arsenio Hall at Comedy Works

If you couldn’t make it to the Martin Lawrence show a couple of weeks ago, then this show will make up for it.

Arsenio Hall will be performing at the Comedy Works at the Landmark this Friday, July 17th & Saturday, July 18th 2015 for two shows each night!

Arsenio Hall is known for so many roles. You might know him from his “Arsenio Hall Show”, a late night talk show that ran from 1989 – 1994, or recently from his appearance in the Celebrity Apprentice. I though associate Arsenio Hall with his role as Semmi (and multiple other roles in that movie!) in my all time favorite movie… Coming to America (which I have watched at least 50 times at this point).

This show is for ages 21 and over and tickets to the show are going for $35 per person. You can purchase them online here.

Arsenio Hall Coming to America

(One of my favorite quote from Coming to America)

Telegraph Lady:

You actually want to send this?

Semmi:

Why? What is wrong? Read it to me.

Telegraph Lady:
To His Majesty, King Jaffe Joffer, The Royal Palace, Zamunda. Sire, Akeem and I have depleted our funds. Kindly send 300, 000 American dollars immediately, as we are in dire straits. Your humble servant, Semmi.

Semmi:
Should I make it 400,000?

Telegraph Lady:
You think that’d be enough?

Semmi:
You are right. 500,000.

Telegraph Lady:
As long as you’re asking, why not go for a cool million?

Semmi:
You do not think that would be too much?

Telegraph Lady:
Naah.
