October represents Halloween, the fall season and pumpkin spice everything. October is also represented by the pink color due to it being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer Awareness month holds even more significance for me this year. My close and good friend, Michele Ciardullo, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatments to kick cancer’s butt.
Michele has been not only fighting this battle like a true warrior princess (#WarriorPrincess), she also has been so positive, open and brave about her battle. She inspires me and everyone she knows. I am dedicating this article to her road to recovery and to all the women and men fighting breast cancer in Denver and all over the world.
So check out these events and ways you can help fight breast cancer this month in Denver!
