From today, May 5th 2015 through October 8th 2015, every Tuesday & Thursday of the week, The 10th Annual Civic Center Eats is returning to the Denver “To-Do” list.
Civic Center Eats will include a delicious outdoor lunch along with some great live music in the beautiful setting of Civic Center Park.
This event is a showcase of Denver’s culinary and entrepreneurial diversity. You can taste so many types of foods. Such as: Asian, European, Indian, Latin, Mediterranean and Italian. You also can find many eclectic food trucks and even desserts.
This is a great way to spend your afternoon lunch break because not only do you get to enjoy such great food in such an awesome environment, but also a portion of the proceeds benefit the Civic Center Conservancy, the nonprofit dedicated to restoring, enhancing and activating downtown Denver’s historic Civic Center Park.
The musical line-up for the month of May includes artists: Adam Hill, Megan Burtt, Jeff King, David Potter, Spencer Crawford, Mark Brut, Owen Kortz and Chris Webb.
Civic Center EATS is produced by the nonprofit Civic Center Conservancy and managed by Hobnob Events with support from the following community sponsors: Westword (Presenting Sponsor), Pioneer Natural Resources, Southwest Airlines, The Denver Post Community, Denver Parks and Recreation,Callahan Capital Partners, JE Dunn Construction and Sherman & Howard.

May 5, 2015 at 1:58 pmYou had me at “eats,” and I was completely smitten when you said “Mediterranean” and “Italian.” This looks like a wonderful place to take the family. There are enough food options for everyone to be happy!
And isn’t it wonderful that merely eating lunch can help support the musical culture of the city? Thanks for sharing this with us!
