Untapped allows you to “check in” beers you’ve tried, give them a rating and make comments. The more beers you try, the more achievements you can get. And the app is a handy place to get brewery recommendations and stay updated on local beer-centered events.

Say goodbye to hurriedly looking up bus or rail schedules on your browser before you head out the door—the Denver Transit app provides all that info in one convenient place. Choose your route, stay on top of delays and get step-by-step navigation so you know exactly where to get off.
HeyRide
When trying to figure out how to get around Denver, there are plenty of options—from public transit to a ride-hail app or scooter/bicycle rentals. But how are you supposed to know which is the fastest and most affordable option? That’s where Go HeyRide comes in. They use real-time data to track traffic, delays and ride-hail cars (like Uber or Lyft) in your area along with exactly how much each of those options will cost.
RTD Mobile Tickets
Bypass the line and vending machines at the station by purchasing day bus and rail passes right from your phone! The RTD Mobile Tickets app allows you to store your credit/debit card information so you can buy a mobile ticket in just a few taps and connects you to other RTD resources like the Trip Planner and Next Ride.
ParkMobile
One of the most inconvenient parts of parking meters is having to stop what you’re doing to go out and pay for a few more hours of parking. But with Parkmobile, you don’t have to worry about that anymore! This app makes it easy to pay for your parking and re-up your time without having to stop what you’re doing.

Colorado is full of incredible campsites, offering beautiful views, unique features and the opportunity to get in touch with nature. But since our amazing state is so packed with outdoor exploration opportunities, it can be hard to narrow down exactly where to go. Campin is the solution to all of our problems. This app shows you where to find free and dispersed camping throughout Colorado. And they aren’t just random campsites! Campin developers have actually visited every site in person, so you know you’re getting direct information. They also provide maps, photos and fire ban updates so you know exactly what to expect before you go.
Denver Playgrounds and Parks
Parents are always on the hunt for a good playground and this app has made it easy to locate the nearest playground and park near you. It also lets you mark if you’ve visited a particular park you’ve liked, rate parks and look at photos of parks before you visit them. The free app lists more than 700 playgrounds and parks in the Denver metro area and allows you to search by feature (e.g. swings, splash pad) or location.

If you live in Denver, it’s more than likely that you’re into some sort of snow sport—like skiing or snowboarding. And sometimes when it comes to checking out the slope conditions, your tried-and-true weather app just won’t cut it. Enter OpenSnow, the app that is created by skiers for skiers that will let you know which resorts have the freshest powder. It also provides five-day forecasts, a 24-hour snow report and “snow stake cams” so you can check out the snow before you head to the mountains.

Official Denver Visitor App
Even if you’re not a visitor and live in Denver full time, you can still get a lot of value out of this app from the Denver Tourism & Visitors Bureau. Get information on local restaurants and attractions; find out about local farmers’ markets and upcoming events; and use their handy itinerary builder to plan your entire day.
Colorado Public Radio
Get a little culture on the go! This useful app gives you access to CPR News, CPR Classical and OpenAir any time, giving you the latest Colorado-centric news and on-demand access to music, stories, and interviews. Oh, and did we mention that it’s completely free?
Denver Trash and Recycling
Sure, a trash and recycling app isn’t the most exciting on this list—but it may be one of the most useful! This simple-to-use app from the City and County of Denver, helps you figure out exactly when your trash collection day is and sends you a push notification when you need to have your items out for pickup. You can also use it to look up specific items to see how exactly to recycle them.
