If Dad loves horses and/or horse racing, then the Arabian Horse Day at Arapahoe Park is the perfect way to celebrate this Father’s Day weekend! The Arabian Horse Association (AHA) in conjunction with Arapahoe Park, the Colorado Horse Council (CHC) and CANTER Colorado will host the first-ever, ‘Arabian Horse Day’ on Father’s Day Weekend. It’s the place to be! Calling on families, fathers and their kiddos, come out to Arapahoe Park and share in the celebration of the Arabian race horse! Kids and dads can participate in fun crafts and activities, go to lunch as a family, meet and greet with real-live Arabian race horse. $15 for Adults & $7.50 for Children ages 12 and under – includes lunch. Classic Car Show

If Dad is a car enthusiast then take him to the Classic Car Show! The 6th Annual Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association Classic Car Show, sponsored by Groove Automotive, features cars in categories such as Classic, European, Hot Rod, and Muscle cars. Register your classic, antique, new car, or motorcycle. They will have music, food, door prizes, goodies bags and category awards for participants. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class and Best of Show. Attending the car show is free and registering to participate in the car shows costs $20 for a car and/or motorcycle in advance or $25 at the event.

Register your vehicle by mail or in person at Recreation Center at Eastridge at 9568 University Blvd. in Highlands Ranch and fill out the online form. Pre-Registration ends on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 12pm,  after 12pm., all registrations will be accepted the day of the event for $25. For the bike-riding and cycling Dad, the Cruiser Rocks Block Party on Bikes, is a great way to celebrate Father’s Day in Denver! Cruiser Rocks is a fund-raising block party on bikes that rides through the Washington Park neighborhood, benefiting the Denver-based LOVE HOPE STRENGTH Foundation. Held every June and October since 2007, Cruiser Rocks has grown into one of the most exciting outdoor events in Denver. The party starts in the parking lot of Ogden St. South.

The bike parade rolls through Wash Park and stops at a several locations where you get to play park games, visit some neighborhood dive bars, and raise money for charity! This is not a race, it’s a party on bikes and the ride is open to anyone 21 or over. Ticket prices range from $25–$35 for riding and include a free t-shirt. Raffle tickets for prizes are $15 for 5 raffle tickets, $25 for 10 raffle tickets and $100 for 50 raffle tickets. Juneteenth Music Festival
