Firefighters are the fiber of our society. They are some of the bravest, courageous and selfless people you could meet.
They run into places that everyone runs away from. They sacrifice their lives everyday to protect ours.
Appreciating a firefighter and their choice of profession is the least we can do for everything they do for us.
So on that note, come celebrate and appreciate the Denver firefighters this Saturday, August 22nd 2015, at the Denver Firefighters Museum for Firefighter Appreciation Day!
The Firefighter Appreciation Day includes FREE admission to the museum as well as family-friendly activities!
The Denver Firefighters Museum is a non-profit that offers not only outstanding exhibits on the history of firefighting in Denver focusing on the Denver Fire Department, but innovative and exciting hands-on activities that allow visitors to interact with the traditional exhibits. From groundbreaking state-of-the-art gallery space to engaging programs and special events.
The family friendly activities will take place between 10am – 2pm and the free admission will be from 10am – 4pm.
Celebrate your local firefighters!
