Independence Day Family Fun Festival
This event is an event that I personally have a hand in helping to organize and co-sponsor (as part of Team Denver Homes in Kentwood Real Estate.) The Independence Day Family Fun Festival brought to you by Save Our Sundial, a project of The Park People. Gather your family, friends and neighbors on Thursday, July 2nd 2015, bring a picnic blanket or chairs, and get ready for tons of fun beginning at 5:30 pm.The festival takes place at Cranmer Park in the Hilltop neighborhood in Denver and is a FREE event to attend! (kids’ activity tickets will cost nominal fees.)
What’s In Store?
Trampolines brought to you by Eurobungy Colorado, a 24ft – 3 lane rock climbing wall, meet & greet with real princesses and pirates by Wands & Wishes Occasions, live reptile shows by Party Safari, face painting by Change of Face and even adult make-up lessons by Ashley Beachem Makeup Artist. You can also expect live music, food trucks, carnival games and of course fireworks!
The music will begin with Hank Troy and the Sundialers, next up will be Soundhouse’s Soul Confluence, Groove Trader and Port Authority. All three Soundhouse bands revisit the music of the STAX and Motown era from Stevie Wonder to Otis Redding and from Aretha Franklin to the Temptations.
Not only is this such a fun event for the whole family, the sales from the tickets will all go towards restoring the park’s sundial. Also if you share the Facebook event page with your friends, you get 2 FREE kids activity tickets. (Simply show your share at the social media desk at the event.)

Independence Celebration at Four Mile Historic Park
Since you are already around the corner for the Independence Day Family Fun Festival (see above), then why not pop round this event and check it out as well?
The Independence Celebration is a celebration that will make you feel as though you went “back in time” in history. Expect old-time games, historic demonstrations, live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, and more. There will be food vendors and a beer garden as well (*entry to beer garden with a valid ID and for over 21+ only). This is a FREE event but there will be a charge for food, refreshments and some activities.

Experience Union Stations 1st(!) Annual Stars & Stripes Express Fest! To Celebrate Independence Day, Union Station will be doubling the size of its Terminal Bar patio.

Independence Eve at Civic Center Park
The 6th Annual Independence Eve at Civic Center Park presented by Anadarko, is a FREE community celebration featuring a concert, light show and fireworks display on Friday, July 3, 2015, in Denver’s Civic Center Park (Colfax & Broadway) beginning at 8pm. The concert will feature patriotic and pop favorites from Funkiphino and the 101st Army Concert Band from Buckley Air Force Base.
Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, as are blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs. Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnics; food trucks will also be available on-site. The event will take place rain or shine.

The 6th annual Park Hill 4th of July Parade is a community-friendly event that again will be marching along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day. Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will include more than 50 groups, including floats, marching bands, costumed characters, classic cars and more!
The 2015 Park Hill 4th of July Parade starts at 1:30pm. on Saturday, July 4. The parade is held in northeast Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood. The parade will end at approximately 3 pm, afterwards continue the fun on the 2200 block of Kearney St. (between 22nd and 23rd Aves.) for a street fair with food, music, kids activities and more.
*You’re encouraged to get there early to set up blankets and chairs and settle in for the fun.

Colorado’s Symphony’s Family Friendly Fourth of July
Colorado Symphony returns to Fiddler’s Green this Independence Day with a family-friendly program featuring favorite contemporary scores and fireworks galore! The evening features the music from Frozen, the Magical World of Pixar, Harry Potter and Star Wars! Also, celebrate America with the Armed Forces Salute, Stars and Stripes Forever, the Overture of 1812 and God Bless America.

8th Annual Highlands 4th of July Parade & Celebration
Celebrate the American spirit with a community-wide FREE 4th of July parade. Bike decorating begins at 32nd Ave. and Clay Street, and then marches to Hirshorn Park where Bluegrass meets a community pot-luck (everyone should bring a dish to share!) and Piñata bashing meets good old fashioned field day games. The event culminates with Little Man’s incredible 100′ ice cream sundae.
Bring your favorite *decorated* bike, a can of food for the local food bank, a blanket to sit on, sun tent, and a finger food item to share with your neighbors.
The parade route is from 32nd Ave. & Clay Street and ends at Hirshorn park for food, music, and games!

Wright Kingdom Real Estate, The University of Colorado, and The City of Boulder Present Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast!
This FREE community event kicks off at 8pm and includes: The Mighty Twisters, Mad Hops jump rope team, and everybody’s favorite, Ralphie the Buffalo. The fireworks will begin as soon as it’s dark, approximately 9:40 PM.
They will also have the Boy Scouts Color Guard presenting the colors for the National Anthem.

“Stars & Stripes”4th of July Celebration at Adams County
Adams County will host a new Independence Day celebration titled “Stars & Stripes” complete with live music, family-friendly activities, and a spectacular fireworks display at the Adams County Regional Park. The event will kick-off at 4 pm with an opening ceremony honoring military and first responders.
Stars and Stripes will continue with live music—Spinphony at 5:30pm and 6 Million Dollar Band at 7:45pm. You can also expect a Children’s Fun Zone, including climbing wall, trampoline bungee jump, bounce houses, mural painting, human hamster balls and obstacle courses. While at the park, attendees might also wish to challenge friends to a game of volleyball, horseshoes, or partake in eating contests. Food vendors and a beer garden will also be available. The highlight of the evening will be a massive fireworks display scheduled to start at approximately 9:45pm. Immediately following the pyrotechnics, visitors are invited to enjoy a screening of the film “Top Gun”—a holiday favorite.

The Great American Picnic- July 4th in Broomfield
Celebrate Independence Day at Broomfield County Commons Park. Event starts at 5:30pm, with pony rides and inflatables. Enjoy a free concert with family performer Princess and later That Eighties Band. Show your patriotic spirit and join the 9th Annual Great American Picnic Bicycle Parade. Decorate your bicycles/tricycles/wagons and scooters and meet at the Championship Field at Broomfield County Commons on July 4 at 5:30pm. The bike parade is for everyone of all ages. (Kids are required to wear a helmet.)
Bring your picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from multiple food vendors at the park. Charcoal grills are NOT permitted. After the concert, the fireworks display begins at dusk, approximately 9:15 pm.

Celebrate America’s birthday in Westminster. Spend time in the activity area playing on a variety of jumping castles, slides and more. The event kicks off with”Splash Bash” between 1pm-3pm at Countryside Outdoor Pool, 10470 Oak St., and includes water games, food and activities. From 3pm there will be a Patriotic Bike Parade that starts from the Lake Pavilion. The kids activity zone and food vendors open at 4pm, following a car show at 5pm and a free concert by Daddy Blue at 7pm. Fireworks will begin at 9:15pm.
