The Alpaca Owners Association Inc. is hosting the National Alpaca Show this weekend, where you and your children will have the opportunity to learn more about the growing North American alpaca industry, talk to breeders from throughout North America and beyond, and meet hundreds of alpacas face-to-face!
The Edge Grand Opening | Denver Zoo

The Edge exhibit is opening at the Denver Zoo from this Friday! The Edge is a one-acre exhibit that is designed to both mimic the natural living environment of Siberian tigers and provide the zoo’s tigers with more space to explore.
Throughout the exhibit, zoo designers have placed a dozen pine trees, which are found all throughout Siberia. The trees will serve as enrichment devices for the tigers living in The Edge, and they will also make the exhibit resemble the edge of a forest, which is the inspiration for the title of the expansion. Another unique feature of the exhibit will be several pools that will allow the tigers to cool off on warm summer days.

The Denver Home Show will feature celebrity guests Matt Blashaw (HGTV’s “Vacation House for Free” & DIY Network’s “Yard Crashers”) and tiny home experts The Diedricksen Brothers (HGTV’s “Tiny House Builders”) for a host of presentations.
The three-day event will also include a Tiny Home Village, an Upcycle Challenge, a live Tablescape Challenge, presentations by local and national experts on remodeling, renovation, décor, gardening and outdoor projects, and more.
