The Northglenn Food Truck Carnival will include some of Denver’s best gourmet food trucks set against a traditional carnival with amusement rides, midway games, fair concessions and roving entertainers. Also enjoy the Big Top stage with eight bands representing Colorado’s best Americana and Bluegrass Music.
ivivva Cherry Creek Grand Opening Weekend

ivivva Cherry Creek is excited to announce its grand opening weekend event at Cherry Creek Shopping Center. On Thursday, May 12th arrive at ivivva Cherry Creek (lower level cherry creek mall next to Free People) by 5:30pm and get ready for an epic party. They’ll kick it off with a live function show, a surprise dance performance, a DJ dance party, dreams and goals and more. Four Mile Historic Park Free Day

Four Mile Historic Park is offering a Free Day this Friday. Check out historic demonstrations, tour the Four Mile House Museum, explore the 12-acre grounds, sample a treat from the summer kitchen, and say hello to farm animals. In addition, they’ll offer their Hay Bales & Tall Tales story time from 12pm -1pm. Tours are at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 pm and are first come, first served. Free days are courtesy of the support provided by your Scientific & Cultural Facilities District. 16th Annual Indian Market and Powwow

Cost: Adults $5; Students with valid ID $3; Seniors 65+ and Children under 12 Free.
Tesoro Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit, will host its 16th annual Indian Market & Powwow on the grounds of the iconic restaurant, The Fort. The event is a yearly tribute to the American Indian tribes that shaped the cultural community of Old Bent’s Fort, an important fur trading post that operated along the famous Santa Fe Trail in the 1830s. In celebration of early Southwestern history, Tesoro hosts nationally acclaimed artists, dancers and drum groups for an art centered gathering, as well as education and interactive exhibits on American Indian culture, for a fun-filled, family weekend. The Indian Market & Powwow has over 50 of the nation’s top award winning Native American artists in pottery, jewelry, easel arts, etc. An inter-tribal contest Powwow occupies the valley Sat.-Sun. with dancers and drummers in competitions of Traditional, Shawl, Fancy, Grass & Jingle dancing. On Sun., Native Americans in our Armed Services are honored.
Binturong Day at Downtown Aquarium Denver

Discovering the Dream Grand Opening Celebration

The Town of Castle Rock is hosting a special grand opening celebration of Discovering the Dream. This free community wide event is an opportunity for shoppers to find unique and one-of-a-kind items browsing multiple garage sales in one day. The non-profit organization WeeCycle that provides and delivers new and gently used baby gear to families in need, is once again joining the Hilltop Annual Garage Sale for those of you who would like to donate your baby, toddler and kids items. Youth on Record Day Album Release Block Party

Youth on Record‘s Album Release Block Party and Community Celebration will bring together 500+ community members for a day-long outdoor mini-festival complete with live music from Youth on Record students, as well as local and national musicians; poetry readings from Denver’s Minor Disturbance; interactive “jam sessions” in their recording studio; neighborhood tours of the award-winning La Mariposa project, block party activities and food and drinks for the entire family. Participating food trucks, Chuey FU’s, Infinitus Pie & Repicci’s Italian Ice & Gelato of Denver, will also be donating back 10% of their proceeds to Youth on Record.
