This year Mardi Gras falls on Tuesday, February 28th 2017 and in celebration we have listed Mardi Gras 2017 Denver events for you to know about!

What is Mardi Gras?
Mardi Gras (also known as Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday) is an annual Carnival celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a season of parades, balls (some of them masquerade balls), and king cake parties. It has traditionally been part of the winter social season; which at one time was when parties for Southern Society women (referred to as débutante balls) were arranged. The Carnival season is a new variation of the traditional manner of preparing for the start of the Christian liturgical season of Lent and starts after Twelfth Night, on Epiphany.

Access Housing‘s Mardi Gras Winter Gala will take place at Balistreri Vineyards, and will feature live entertainment, gourmet Cajun cuisine, an open bar with signature cocktails and both live and silent auctions.
All proceeds from this event provide emergency shelter, homeless prevention, transitional housing, permanent housing and other family support services to families facing homeless in Colorado.
Flyp’d Booty Bounce Mardi Gras

Celebrate Mardi Gras weekend at Tracks with their Denver’s largest and longest running 18+ dance party. Flyp’d Thursdays is their newest Thursday night edition happening every 4th Thursday of the month. It’s a Hip-Hop Main Room Takeover, and this month, it’s also Mardi Gras themed.

Tennyson Street Mardi Gras Rumpus 2017

The Tennyson Street Mardi Gras Rumpus 2017, hosted by Call to Arms Brewing Company, will feature special Mardi Gras-inspired beers, BBQ from Baby E’s BBQ and pizza, tacos, and tortillas from MAS KAOS Pizzeria + Taqueria, homemade gumbo, live music by Brothers of Brass, and a Mardi Gras parade featuring floats built by Denver local breweries.

Mardi Gras Celebration at Kingman Estates Winery

Stoney’s Mardi Gras Crawfish Boil

Bourbon Street comes to Denver with a complete Mardi Gras take over. Kevin Larson Presents Denver Mardi Gras 2017 at EXDO Event Center.
The event will include 10,000 beads 2,000 guests, decor artist Jim Barter, who will be creating 14-foot buildings with full balconies and hidden courtyards, 12’ voodoo dolls, various booths with interaction, a courtyard café, a mini casino, an arcade area, bands and DJ’s, a fashion show parade, jesters, drum leaders, aerialists, dancers, burlesque, face painters, tarot readers, magicians, jugglers and more.

Mile High Spirits Distillery and Tasting Bar will celebrate Fat Tuesday by donating proceeds to Rocky Mountain Active 20-30, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for children’s charities in the Denver Metro Area.
