Horror film buffs unite, the Mile High Horror Film Festival is back!
The Mile High Horror Film Festival is a showcase of the very best horror genre films from around the world. The festival hosts one day events throughout the year with their signature special weekend-long festival that takes place in Colorado every fall and includes various live appearances by directors, actors, producers and more!
The Mile High Horror Film Festival 2015 is taking place from this Thursday, October 1st 2015, through Sunday, October 4th 2015, at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Littleton. This festival works in partnership with FANGORIA , a monthly publication that features horror movies reviews and news.

Pay tribute to the late Wes Craven on the opening night of the Mile High Horror Film Festival with a special memoriam screening one of his most acclaimed films, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Craven helped redefine the horror genre with his visionary work on such productions as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, The Hills Have Eyes and The Last House on the Left to become one of the most important and influential horror filmmakers of all time.
A Nightmare on Elm Street screening will be preceded by a Q&A via Skype with Heather Langenkamp.
