Just before it gets too cold, enjoy an outdoor family movie night this month in the Hilltop neighborhood!
Pack a picnic dinner, spread a blanket, mingle with neighbors and enjoy free popcorn and an evening of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial under the stars on Friday, September 18th 2015, between the hours of 6pm – 9:30pm, at the Denver Tennis Club!
Tickets cost $20 per family and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Save Our Sundial project – so it’s all going for a great and an important cause (that’s close to my heart).
Save Our Sundial is a community-based effort to raise funds to restore the Cranmer Park Sundial & Plaza, one of Denver’s great park landmarks. The park is used by thousands of Denverites and visitors enjoying the beautiful outdoors and is a regular stopping point for tour buses. Whether it’s playing sports, creating memories for life’s most cherished moments, taking a walk with friends, or man’s best friend. Unfortunately, the plaza was originally built on rubble and has no firm foundation. This has caused the plaza to buckle and sag, seriously damaging the flagstone, mortar, and mosaic panorama. In addition, vandals have chipped the face of the sundial.
*Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
*If you choose to bring a chair, please make sure the total chair height (including legs) does not exceed 26 inches. Please leave your furry friends at home.
Doors open at 6pm and it’s first come first serve for seating. The movie will begin promptly at 7:30pm.
Please RSVP to Michele.Weingarden@n2pub.com by Friday, September 4th, as space is limited.
