wha-ha-ha-ha…
Do you like getting scared? Are you into horror movies? I can tell you that I am the type of person who doesn’t seek out these movies on my own. My husband loves them, and I watch them at times cursing every moment yet secretly enjoying them too. I’m pretty sure once my husband reads this post he will want to go (so might have to keep this one on the down-low for my sake).
This Thursday, May 21st 2015, the Mile High Horror Film Festival is showing a double-feature of “Poltergeist” (the classic and early-screening of the new 2015 movie) at the Alamo DraftHouse Cinema in Littleton.
The evening begins in the Glass Half Full Taproom at 5:00pm where Oliver Robins, known as “Robbie” in the original 1982 film, will be available to chat with fans. Autographs and photo-ops will also be available for an additional fee.
At 6:00pm the Mile High Horror Film Festival will present the original (1982) Poltergeist preceded by a Q&A with Mr. Robins in which fans can address his experiences working with Steven Spielberg in addition to his personal recollections of filming this infamous classic. Fans will also enjoy a feast of popcorn, split pea soup in a bread bowl, paired with tasty brews from Breckenridge Brewery, and a cookie!
Because one horror movie is never enough, at 9:30pm there will be a special, early screening of the new (2015) Poltergeist movie, before it is released on May 22nd.
The craft dinner, Q&A and both movie screenings are included in the price of the ticket.
Tickets cost $30.00 each and can be purchased here.
Age Policy- 18 and up; Children 6 and up will be allowed only with a parent guardian. No children under the age of 6 will be allowed.
