There is a great event coming to Denver next weekend. It’s the 4th Annual Blues, Brews & BBQ event that benefits WeeCycle.
The Blues, Brews & BBQ event includes an authentic BBQ dinner, local craft beer, live bluegrass music and a showcase collection of vintage cars.
Another notable feature of this event is the auction. Some really great auction items will be available such as :
- “Denver Stay-cation” that includes a night at the Hotel Monaco, gift certificate for Lower 48, spa services by Veda Salon & Spa and brunch at Panzano.
- Dinner with Denver Bronco veteran player and motivational speaker Reggie Rivers at The Denver Chophouse.
- Football autographed by Billy Thompson.
- 2 night stay at Arizona’s Miraval Resort & Spa.
- 2 premiere seats to Neil Diamond’s concert and a “swag bag” of memorabilia.
- Flight package and wine tasting tour to Palmaz Vineyards in Napa California.
- Group trip of up to 12 for a 6 night stay in a 10 bedroom cabin in Whitefish, Montana.
The best part of this event is the great cause that it benefits.
The Blues, Brews & BBQ event is a fundraiser for WeeCycle. WeeCycle’s mission is to help low income families with infants and toddlers in the Denver metro area by providing them with new and gently used baby gear free of charge. They acquire the gear through the charitable donations of individuals and businesses and distribute it through local community organizations already serving families with infants and toddlers affected by poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, teen pregnancy and under-employment. In carrying out this mission, they also contribute to environmental preservation by recycling and reusing baby gear and operating in an environmentally conscious manner.
