McGREGOR SQUARE
While an outdoor plaza isn’t usually the first thing that comes to mind in the middle of in December, McGregor Square transforms into a festive holiday wonderland that needs to be on your list this year. In collaboration with some of the incredible businesses that call McGregor Square home – there’s plenty of things to see, do, eat and drink as we count down the final weeks of 2022.
Whether you’re looking for some festive holiday pop-ups, events, goodies, photo-ops and more, we’re ready to deck the halls.
HOLIDAY LINEUP
For those looking for some holly jolly fun this December, have we got a list for you. McGregor Square’s holiday lineup includes:
McGREGOR SKATE
The holidays wouldn’t be complete without a visit to McGregor Skate, the outdoor ice skating rink located in the heart of the plaza. Open daily (with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) through the end of the year, it’s giving us all those holiday feels. With themed skate nights every Friday, hot beverages, and special appearances from Santa and his holiday helper Dinger – we can’t think of a better way to spend a day/night.
Psst… skates are available to rent at their on-site skate shop for $15 (includes admission).
UGLY SWEATER PARTY
Eat, drink and be ugly!
We’re of course talking about The Original Denver’s Ugly Sweater Party taking place on Saturday December 17th. With festive cocktails, dance floor, ugly sweater contest, drag queens and more this is one event you won’t want to miss!
SLEIGH BAR
It’s beginning to look a lot like cocktails!
Milepost Zero transforms into the festive holiday pop-up Sleigh Bar all December long. With floor-to-ceiling decor, seasonal-inspired cocktails, live entertainment, and holiday themed events; we are ready to SLEIGH this holiday.
Psst… we heard Santa and his helpers can be spotted around the square.
CHEERS TO THE NEW YEAR
We’ve got that 2023 vision!
Rounding out our list of holiday fun is not one but two NYE events taking place at McGregor Square.
- The Drop – Dance the night away with your boo, crew, and more this NYE as you enjoy a variety of entertainment, drinks and an exclusive McGregor Square firework show! Taking place at Milepost Zero and the plaza tickets include: an open bar, unlimited bites, DJ sets, interactive photo booth, champagne toast, firework show and more.
- Midnight Fever – Get on your dancing shoes! This 70s themed NYE party taking place at The Rally Hotel is sure to get you moving and grooving into the new year. Tickets include: access to their stunning indoor lounge and 3rd floor terrace, open bar, unlimited bites, live entertainment, dance floor, live music and so much more!
STAY COZY
For those looking for some staycation vibes this year, The Rally Hotel is your home away from home this holiday season. This luxury hotel is one of our favorite places to catch some spectacular views of The Mile High and then some.
