August is National Golf Month, and to celebrate, we have listed a map of all the public golf courses in Denver.
What is the Difference Between a Public Golf Course and a Private Golf Course?
A public golf course is a course where you can pay a fee for each round you play or a daily fee and it can often offer some sort of membership program. Public golf courses can either be owned by private companies or individuals, or can be owned by a municipality. A private golf course is owned by a private company or individuals but you can only play if you are a member.
Why Feature Public Golf Courses Over Private Golf Courses?
Since we want you to be able to experience the actual courses, featuring private golf courses would not serve our readers enough value in the list. This way, you can try out all the courses on the list if you want to!
Now that those questions have been answered, it’s time to list the public golf courses in Denver!
