The Butterfly Pavilion has included a monthly educational and fun activity that you and your kids can enjoy on Saturdays!
The Saturday Science Sessions at Butterfly Pavilion is a great way to entertain your kids and is designed in such a way that you can attend each monthly session and enjoy a completely different experience each time.
Each workshop is designed around a theme that provides an in-depth, hands-on, interactive view of their amazing plants and animals. The Saturday Science Session is a parent-child class that is 90 minutes long and is appropriate for children ages 5 and up (unless otherwise noted). Each program also incorporates a small take home gift that ties to the program’s theme.
This Saturday, November 7th 2015, the theme is Underwater Mysteries (calling all Nemo fans!). This workshop will begin at 10:30am till 12pm. The next session has also already been announced. It will take place on Saturday, December 12th 2015, also between 10:30am – 12pm, and the theme is Glowing Animals (Calling all Ray fans from Princess & The Frog!)
Each session will cost members $18 for a combo of one parent plus one child and for every additional child an extra $4.50. For non-members it’s $20 combo plus $5 for every additional child.
