StarFest, the Denver Science-Fiction convention is back this weekend for its 39th year!
StarFest 2016 Denver will take place from Friday, March 11th through Sunday, March 13th 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center.
StarFest is an annual Denver convention encompassing all aspects of popular media, film and television. Started in 1977, it attracts several thousand fans of popular culture for a weekend of social interaction, games and fun.
StarFest has always been Denver’s unique event where you can wear great costumes, browse through thousands of collectible items, attend and participate in live performances & panels, and talk face-to-face with Actors, Directors, Producers, Writers, Illustrators, Scientists and Special Effects Artists!
This year StarFest 2016 will be celebrating some key anniversaries such as Star Trek, I-Spy, Mission Impossible and Batman’s 50th anniversary, Raider of the Lost Ark’s 35th anniversary, Lord of the Rings, “The Fellowship of the Rings”’s 15th anniversary, Terminator 2: Judgment Day’s 25th anniversary and J.J Abrams’ 50th birthday.
