The Breakfast Club, the movie that critics consider as one of the greatest high school films of all time, will now be screened at one of the best venues worldwide – Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The Breakfast Club will mark it’s 30th Anniversary with a screening at Red Rocks on Wednesday, August 26th 2015, at 7pm and will include live music by Jen Korte & the Loss with The Dirty Femmes.
This screening is part of Film on the Rocks. Film on the Rocks is a collaborative production of the Denver Film Society and Denver Arts & Venues and was created to provide an affordable opportunity for the community to enjoy films and live entertainment at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The Breakfast Club is about five students with nothing in common, faced with spending a Saturday detention together in their high school library. At 7am., they had nothing to say, but by 4pm. they had bared their souls to each other and become good friends. John Hughes, creator of the critically acclaimed Sixteen Candles, wrote, directed and produced this hilarious and often touching comedy starring Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy. To the outside world they were simply the “Jock”, the “Brain”, the “Criminal”, the “Princess” and the “Kook”, but to each other, they would always be The Breakfast Club.
Tickets to the screening are $12 each and can be purchased at–> http://www.axs.com/events/278529/the-breakfast-club-tickets
