The 3rd annual Grand Coffee Bazaar is a curated coffee event and festival, designed to celebrate Colorado’s incredible independent coffee scene. At this one-of-a-kind event, we unite roasters, importers and brewers to dive into Colorado coffee culture and showcase the very best our local coffee community has to offer.
This morning event will feature tastings from more than a dozen Colorado coffee roasters, cuppings hosted by a handful of Colorado’s coffee pioneers, brunch cocktails, collaboration coffee beers, and locally curated brunch snacks.
Tickets include tokens for brunch bites, coffee sampling, a delicious morning libation and a one-of-a-kind mug.
Death by Coconut Tasting Event

Colorado-based Cholaca and Oskar Blues are hosting the Death by Coconut Tasting Event for seasonal release of Oskar Blues “Death by Coconut.” The event will celebrate October’s Beer Festival Season and National Chocolate Day!
Event highlights include chocolate-themed food provided by Cholaca, and family fun activities such as chocolate art competition, and kid friendly interactive learning about regenerative cacao farming through chocolate tree planting.

Rosenberg’s Bagels to Reopen Five Points Shop
Rosenberg’s Bagels & Delicatessen will officially reopen its doors in Five Points on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 from 6am, after the renowned bagel shop was displaced by a fire in May. Owner Joshua Pollack and his team of 18 staff spent the last five months volunteering and hosting pop-up events to raise money for several local charities, contributing a total of over 1,350 volunteer hours and $8,000 in donations.
The original Rosenberg’s will maintain its prior hours of operation, open every Tuesday through Sunday from 6am to 3pm. In addition to serving beloved classics like The Standard and Heart Attack breakfast sandwiches, new offerings will be introduced in the upcoming months, including mini bagels, bagel balls and other bread choices. The restaurant is currently hiring for all positions.

La Loma Mexican Restaurant Four-Day Celebration Before Moving to a New Location
On Monday, October 24th, 2016 after dinner service and a four-day celebration, La Loma Mexican Restaurant will close its doors after nearly 35 years in Jefferson Park and move to their new location in downtown Denver.
The closing celebration begins on Friday, October 21st, with throwback menu specials including the Mexican Pizza, and the Margarita Azul, and it will continue through October 23rd, 2016
On Monday, October 24th, beginning at 4pm, La Loma will host its last tailgate party as the Denver Broncos take on the Houston Texans. Attendees are invited to get their picture taken with the portrait of Grandma Mendoza from 4:30pm to 7:30pm as a souvenir and thank you gift for their many years of support. Also for purchase are $8 Don Julio margaritas, $3 hand wrapped burritos, and $5 draft beers. There is a free shuttle to and from the game.
