Calling all cat-lovers and YouTube cat video enthusiasts (basically calling all Denver locals), put down your YouTube app and come watch funny cat shows live with The Amazing Acro-Cats along with the Rock Cats!
The Amazing Acro-Cats are a group of real cats that perform amazing tricks and delight sold-out venues across the country. Their “posse” the Rock Cats, purr-form on stage with live musical instruments.
The best part about these shows is that their ultimate mission isn’t to sell tickets or simply entertain you. The Amazing Acro-Cats and their human staff, are devoted to supporting feline adoption and rescue across the country. Founder, Samantha Martin, has rescued nearly 200 homeless felines (all the cats performing are former stray cats).
All the cats performing in The Amazing Acro-Cats (and their Rock group) are taken care of by Martin, a feline behavioral expert, and her staff.

ViewHouse BallPark “The Bachelorette” Watch Party

On Monday, July 25th, 2016, the ViewHouse Ballpark, Denver’s chef-driven eatery, rooftop, and bar, invites Colorado’s “Bachelor Nation” to join current ABC’s “The Bachelorette“, JoJo Fletcher, in her continued search for love with a special episode watch party.
The night’s Bachelorette watch party will take place from 6pm to 9pm with the episode screening at 7pm.
Special guest and current Bachelorette contestant, Robby Hayes will join the viewing party, along with Lace Morris and Leah Block, former contestants on The Bachelor Season 19 and Bachelor in Paradise. Starting at 6pm., Robby, Lace, and Leah will meet and greet guests, and also be available for photo opportunities.
The ViewHouse will play the full show with complete sound in the sound in their tavern, dining room, and on their outdoor 195″ LED courtyard TV. Guests can enjoy features like a $10 cheese plate and 50% off any bottle or glass of Francis Ford Coppola Winery wine as well as Coors Light specials. The first 50 guests to arrive will also receive a free custom ViewHouse Bachelorette tank-top!
2016 Governor’s Cup Winners to be Announced at Governor’s Cup Tasting Event
The Colorado Wine Industry Development Board (CWIDB) is proud to announce the 18 winners of this year’s 2016 Governor’s Cup Competition which were selected by a panel of high-profile judges. The winners will be officially announced by Governor Hickenlooper alongside chef pairings on August 4th, 2016, at the History Colorado Center during the Governor’s Cup Tasting Event.
The August 4th Governor’s Cup Tasting event is open to the public and will feature the top 18 Governor’s Cup Colorado wines, plus small plate pairings from locally sourced ingredients created by many notable Colorado chefs including Elise Wiggins of Cattivella and Mark Reggiannini of Café Marmotte, both of Denver.
General Admission tickets are $45 and include entry at 7:30pm. VIP Experience tickets are $90 and include early access at 6:30pm to taste the previous year’s winners with paired menu samples, plus an intimate food & wine pairing experience with seating in Café Rendezvous, featuring additional food prepared by Chef Samir Mohammad. Earlier this week, we published an interactive map of where you can find Pokémon, Pokéstops and gyms around Denver. This week we have an extra secret for you… This Friday, July 22nd through Sunday, July 24th, 2016 guests who show the Pokémon GO app on their phone at guest services of the Denver Zoo, will receive $5 dollars off admission from 1pm until close. In addition to its Pokéstops and training gym, the Zoo will also host Pokémon lures from 1pm to 5pm, Friday through Sunday.
